Andrew Weir, MBA

Andrew Weir is a Partner leading the firm's M&A advisory practice and growth strategy. He brings over a decade of private equity experience across Canada and the United States, with a track record of scaling platform businesses through disciplined acquisition execution.

Prior to Consortium, Andrew led national deal strategies for dentalcorp, VetStrategy, and AmeriVet Veterinary Partners. He was directly responsible for more than 100 completed transactions and over $175 million in acquired EBITDA — including the largest transaction in VetStrategy's history, a $110 million, 13-location location acquisition. He oversaw national deal teams, presented to executive leadership and boards, and drove record expansion years including 85+ acquisitions and $55 million in acquired EBITDA in a single fiscal year.

Andrew is recognized for his expertise in deal origination, valuation, negotiation, creative structuring, and post-merger integration. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba and completed executive coaching through the Smith School of Business at Queen's University. He holds an MBA in Finance and is bilingual in English and French.
